About Canbyr
Flowers fade. Their stories shouldn’t.
Along roads everywhere, families leave flowers, crosses, and photos where someone they loved was lost. Most people drive past without ever knowing who that person was.
Canbyr gives those memorials a place on the map. Anyone can pin a memorial they’ve seen, share the name and story of the person it honors, and let others light a candle or leave a message.
We hope it does two things: keeps each person’s memory alive, and reminds every driver who passes that the road deserves care. Slow down. Put the phone away. Get home safe.
Adding a memorial with care
- Only stop to take photos where it’s safe and legal to pull over.
- Be respectful. These are real people and grieving families.
- If you don’t know the person’s story, a name and photo of the memorial is enough.
